Here are printable materials and some
suggestions to present letter Z.
Have some items for demonstration that feature a zipper, such as clothing, backpack, etc. Practice opening and closing the zippers.
A zipper is a fastener made up of two rows of teeth that lock together and a slide pull that either joins them or pulls them apart. Zippers are used on clothing, handbags and other articles.
Alphabet Activity: Alphabet Letter Z is for Zipper
Present the letter Z zipper six-piece online jigsaw puzzle to practice problem solving and view letter Z in upper and lower case. Adjust number or pieces using the Change Cut button on the left.
Alphabet - beginning letter Z sound (Ages 3+)
Present the handwriting worksheet and/or the letter Z activity worksheet and mini-book program. Read suggested instructions for using the worksheet and mini-book.
* Finger Tracing: Trace letter Z's in upper and lower case with your finger as you also sound out the letter. Invite the children to do the same on their coloring page.
*Find the letter Z's: Have the children find all the letter Z's in upper and lower case on the worksheet words and encourage them to circle these first.
