The L legs are optional - and three of them are upper case letter L for Ladybug, and the other three legs are inverted letter L's. The craft is appropriate for a St. Valentine's Day theme, Bible Story or Nursery Rhyme activities.

(appropriate for ages 2 to 3 or large groups & limited time situations) and with letter L legs or shape black pipe cleaners in the shape of letter L's.

Option 2: Print black and white template. Children can color, paint or decorate first, cut out and proceed as above.
Option 3: For Large Groups and to recycle left over materials.
