Word Search
for Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary

Printable word search for young children learning to read and write in preschool, Kindergarten and early elementary grades.  

Word search features:
1.  Four to eight words with pictures to help children learn vocabulary and reading skills.  

2.  The words selected complement activities and crafts in the site.

3.  The words go ACROSS and DOWN only.  Words do not share or overlap (see example below).  The grid features LOWER CASE letters.

4.  Handwriting practice:  Children can practice writing their name, words, or letters in upper and lower case with dotted tracer or independently. 

Printing Tips:  In File, Page Setup (or Print Setup):  remove data in 'headers and footers' and use smallest margins allowable.
