ABOUT PENGUINS:
  1. Penguins: Tuxedoed swimmers of the sea! Unlike most birds, penguins can't fly, but they're superstars in the water! With flippers for wings, they zoom through the ocean like torpedoes in tiny suits.
  2. Not all penguins wear the same tux! There are actually many penguin species, from the tall Emperor Penguin to the little Adelie Penguin. Some penguins even have colorful patches on their bellies!
  3. Endangered and Needing Our Help! Sadly, some penguin populations are in danger. Climate change and pollution can make it hard for them to find food and raise their chicks. We can help by keeping our oceans clean!
  4. Living on Ice! Most penguins make their homes in super cold places like Antarctica, surrounded by snow and ice. They huddle together to stay warm, like a giant penguin cuddle puddle!
  5. Not all penguins live at the South Pole! While some penguins waddle around on icy lands like Antarctica, others live in warmer places closer to the equator, like South Africa and even the Galapagos Islands!
  6. Super Dad Penguins! Male penguins are amazing dads! They take turns keeping the egg warm on their feet while the mama penguin goes fishing. Then, they take care of the chicks after they hatch, just like daddy penguins with tiny tuxedos!
