Animals > Fantasy and Mythical
A dragon is an imaginary monster and legendary creature that looks
like a giant reptile (Western mythology) with wings, or snake-like without
wings (Eastern mythology) with, claws, and a long
tail. In stories or pictures, dragons breathe fire and often
guard a place or treasure.
The dragon is the only imaginary creature featured in the twelve signs
of the Chinese Zodiac, and very popular in Chinese New Year celebrations. The remaining eleven signs are represented by
animals.
