• Skills developed during craft assembly: Scissor cutting and coloring (precursors to handwriting),  problem solving, and fine motor skills.

Fairy tale > Story time online: The Shoemaker and the Elves
A fun Brother's Grimm folktale just right for Christmas, with a theme of the joy or giving and showing gratitude. This story ties in really well with the printable activities for the nursery rhyme: "There was old woman who lived in a shoe."
