ABOUT TOUCANS:
  1. Rainforest Rainbows: Toucans are tropical birds with homes in the lush rainforests of Central and South America. Imagine a place filled with tall trees and bright flowers – that's where toucans hang out!
  2. Beak Believe It!: Their most famous feature is their giant beak, which comes in all sorts of colors like red, orange, and yellow. It might look heavy, but it's actually really light and helps them reach yummy fruits way out on branches.
  3. Feathery Fashion Show: Toucan feathers are just as amazing as their beaks. They come in all sorts of dazzling colors – fiery reds, sunny yellows, and inky blues – making them look like they stepped right out of a rainforest painting.
  4. Symbols of Good Luck: In some cultures, toucans are seen as lucky birds. People believe they bring happiness and good fortune, just like a colorful four-leaf clover!.
  5. Chatterboxes of the Rainforest: Toucans are known for their loud calls and screeches. They use these sounds to chat with each other, warn others of danger, and maybe even show off their cool beaks!
  6. Belize's Colorful Pride: The keel-billed toucan (Ramphastos sulfuratus) is the national bird of Belize. It is also known as the "bill bird", sulfur-breasted toucan, keel toucan, or rainbow-billed toucan.
