Grapes Circles Craft Preschool Printable Activity
Materials:
- printer
- paper to print craft - white or pastel color
- purple craft or construction paper
- coloring tools for B&W template
- scissors
- glue stick
- a circle template 1.5 inch or 3.8 cm or a circle cutter
Instructions:
This activity should be after a presentation of the actual fruit, after story time or a Bible activities.
- Print the template in color or B&W, with or without Bible text. It is important to have the margin setting in Default, so the circles print in the right size.
- Prepare the 15 grape circles - the size is 1.5" or 3.8 cm to fit the template. Two method suggested:
--- use a circle cutter or circle punch cutter. Normally you can fit a few pieces of paper at the same time.
--- for a template, use the cap of a common item with this size (cap of a milk or juice container) - Learning activities before assembly: Ask and help children to identify and count the 15 circles. Identify the colors: purple and green.
- Proceed to paste the circles from the top and down
Additional ideas or options: - Instead of circle cutouts, use a painting method: fingerpaints, dot markers, dab paint with cotton ball or a circle sponge cutout, etc. Just have fun with any supplies you may have on hand.
- Write letter G grapes or V vine on the margins.
- Display the finished craft in a place of honor at child's eye level.
