ABOUT GEESE:
  1. Most are migratory birds, meaning they travel long distances twice a year, in a cool V formation like a high-five in the sky!
  2. Honk honk! Geese are famous for their loud honking, like a built-in party horn they use to chat with each other.
  3. Boy geese are called ganders, and they're the ultimate family men! Ganders work with the girl geese (called geese too!) to raise their goslings, the fluffy chick versions of themselves.
  4. Geese have super strong feet with webbed toes, like tiny paddles, that help them zoom through water like feathered speedboats!
  5. Geese have amazing memories and can recognize people they met years ago – that's one smart goose!
  6. Just like ducks, some domesticated geese are raised on farms for their tasty meat and eggs. Their livers are also considered a delicacy in some places. But the real prize might be their soft down feathers, used in comfy jackets, pillows, quilts and to keep us warm and cozy.
